  • Exchange Programme

    Executive MBA students have the opportunity to do a study exchange at Cambridge Judge Business School (UK) and the East China University of Science & Technology (Shanghai, China). The Exchange Programme may be booked additionally to the iimt Executive MBA programme courses (iimt Executive Diploma students might join if they register for an Executive MBA).

     

    Cambridge Judge Business School

    Students are free to choose up to three courses out of the two-day open programme at Cambridge Judge Business School. In accordance with the iimt, it will be decided which courses will be accredited as equivalence to the courses at Cambridge Judge Business School.

     

     

     

    East China University of Science & Technology

    Students are free to participate at the study trip which includes teaching lessons at the ECUST and several company visits. In accordance with the iimt, it will be decided which courses will be accredited as equivalence to the courses at ECUST.

     

  • Practical Information & Admission

    English is the sole language of instruction. Participants therefore require knowledge of that language.

    The programmes are organised in weekly blocks (Tuesday to Friday), each block consisting of two modules. Half of the class time is devoted to the acquisition of new knowledge in the subject area concerned, while the remaining time is allocated to practical work and case studies (in ICT or Utility Management).

    Each of the 30 modules is followed by a written or oral examination. Oral examinations are taking place during the course module. Written examinations are taking place on Monday afternoon before the subsequent course block starts (e.g. visit course module in January, examination in March). For the exact course dates, please refer to the timetable. By completing an Executive MBA, students receive 90 ECTS-Credits including the internationally recognised Executive Master of Business Administration in ICT or Utility Management of the University of Fribourg.

    Candidates for the Executive MBA require at least three years’ professional experience in a management position in the field of ICT or Utility and to have obtained a licence (Bachelor/Master) recognised from a University or University of Applied Sciences or other diploma recognised as equivalent (or may be admitted “sur dossier”).
