Joëlle Simonet has been working as a junior project assistant at iimt since March 2018. She’s from Basel and earned her bachelor’s degree in Media and Computer Science there in 2015. During her studies, Joëlle worked at GGG Basel, an association for the funding of education, culture, social affairs and health, where she gained insights into the fascinating world of non-profit organisations. In spring 2016, Joëlle started her Master in Business Communication, with a minor in information management, while working as a project leader and web developer in a young web agency until the end of February 2018.
Via the course Innovation and Technology Management, which she attended in the fall of 2017, Joëlle got to know the iimt. During her time with the iimt, Joëlle will mostly contribute to the Interactive Crowd Management project and will be responsible for programming the experiments. As part of her master thesis with the iimt, Joëlle is working on the topic of cyber security awareness.
In her free time, she enjoys inline skating or learning Icelandic (preferably in Iceland itself, of course). Joëlle is now looking forward to taking a closer look at her fascination with the interaction between people and technology.
We look forward to work with Joëlle and wish her a good start.
