The joint project between the OFCOM (Federal Office of Communications) and the iimt was completed successfully. According to the OFCOM, ICT and their security risks pose new challenges every day for people in Switzerland. To be able to use ICT with an awareness of security and thereby to improve confidence in ICT, an appropriate awareness of the risks, knowledge of the possible dangers and the ability to avoid or repel them is required. Therefore security-related skills are necessary in private life and a security culture in the workplace needs to be created.
